The TELESCAN Mark-3 has a CMY color mixing system different from its predecessors. It is a dichroic glasses filters are now, and are grouped on a single module.
The module includes cyan, magenta, and yellow, of course, but also a CTO, a frost, and the dimmer.
Dichroic or dimmer blades are arranged in a sliding system that engages symmetrically each half blade to the center of the beam by a system of motorized rods potentiometer chocked and regulated by the drivers boards in another part of projector.
The module is slightly tilted to avoid parasitic reflections that may occur in the beam.
The presented model is that of TELESCAN MARK-3 "C" (1st version). On the "standard" MARK-3 model, the system is a little wider because the beam diameter is of superior size.
