Four Téléscans MARK-2 "PLEXIGLAS" model built by CAMELEON are machines like Mark-2 "USA" with some aluminum parts have been replaced by plates of transparent Plexiglas, which allows to see everything inside the projector operation, except the lamp-box comprising the starter and the lamp. The electronic compartment of the machines were deported for not to hide the visibility of the back side wanted "transparent" .
These original machines were built from a Jacques Rouveyrollis idea, that integration of these units on his lighting design on concerts of french singer Michel Fugain. He wanted to see the path of the light beam on four projectors placed near to the stage. The beam created a particular effect when it passes through the machines with dichroic gobos and color filters, these projectors thus found themselves as part of the stage setting .
Jacques Rouveyrollis has integrated this for Telescans in a other creation for a tour of Jacques Dutronc, twenty years later again.
