On some first Telescans models, the mirror feature is formed on same turret base. It's an element comprising the actuator and allowing a deflection mirror for 90° (PAN) and 90° (TILT).
The head is adjustable simply by tightening the axis PAN to guide "zero point" for definite the deflection zone of the beam would need to be offset from the vertical of the projector.
The system equips the Mark-1 and all Mark-2 until 1989 (starting of Mark-2 standard model with new turret). Most Mark-2 will then be modified to accommodate the new turret 180° x 90°.
